Dapo Oduwole, a U.K. and Nigeria qualified Lawyer is the Director-General / CEO of Ogun State’s Public Private Partnerships Agency and an economic adviser to the Governor of Ogun State, Nigeria.
He is a former Director of Corporate Services and Director of Legal Services in the UK Government where his corporate experience covered urbanisation, city regeneration and large infrastructure projects including transport, health, housing, environment and social development.
A respected leader and trusted advisor he is renowned for making insightful contributions to government transformation and private sector engagement. He is a strong practitioner of efficiency in government and has built up a reputation as an ultra-effective deal broker in commercial negotiations and alternatives topublic finance across the funding spectrum including PPPs (Public Private Partnerships) & PFI (Public Finance Initiative).
He holds a degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Aston Business School Birmingham U.K. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the Law Society of England & Wales and the African Corporate and Government Counsel Forum.
He is committed to progress and collaboration between lawyers on the African Continent to foster first class corporate behaviour cum relations and provide sustainable solutions to trade (under AfCFTA) and political imbalance between Africa and the rest of the world.
He operates a Pro Bono practice where he offers free legal advice to churches, civil societies and families with little or modest means.
